In the Spring 2007 newsletter I promised to update you in this issue on the integration of FFINTO with Proskills UK.
I am pleased to report that negotiations have progressed smoothly and as of the 1st August 2007 the work of FFINTO will come under the auspices of Proskills UK. I am also able to advise you that the current staff will all transfer over to Proskills UK and the office will remain open, subject to a review next year.
As I stated in the last newsletter it is sad to see the demise of FFINTO after eight years of operation and much has been achieved. However now is the time to move forward and for the industry to work with Proskills UK, engaging with the opportunities the SSC presents. The industry will be represented in Proskills UK by an industry group.
